ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
- Assist the HR Manager and other KEMRON managers with all phases of recruiting to include the preparation of job descriptions and job postings both internal and external, compensation research, initial applicant screening and/or interviews.
- Maintenance of the resume database on SharePoint.
- Fully maintain all aspects of the online HR/Applicant Tracking System to include all Applicant Logs, Affirmative Action/EEO required outreach efforts and file maintenance.
- Compliance assurance, preparation and filing for all Federal Contractor annual reporting requirements to include EEO-1, VETS-4212.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Plan social media recruiting strategy to post and research talent for KEMRON utilizing all possible sources of talent, especially within the environmental field.
- Perform all professional certification verifications.
- Perform candidate employment verifications
- Prepare employee 90-day probationary reports and annual review reports for all managers at least one month in advance of employee review date; follow up to ensure timely receipt of review paperwork and completed PARs.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3 years of experience in Recruiting or HR.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources (HR) support role.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with full cycle recruiting for all KEMRON positions to include writing job descriptions which include physical and mental requirements for position.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining HR data related to recruitment.
- Must have excellent knowledge of administrative paperwork and data entry.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn for recruiting.
- Must possess excellent business acumen and be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the business needs of KEMRON.
- Ability to “think outside the box” to source alternative methods of recruiting, i.e. hanging signs on fence at project site.
- Ability to effectively relate, and communicate with, all levels of the organization.
- Ability to create and implement innovative sourcing strategies for all KEMRON positions.
- Strong general office administration skills, to include use of Microsoft Word/Excel and SharePoint.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to write effective and grammatically correct emails/memos/letters/job descriptions.
- Ability to easily and effectively work independently as well as work collaboratively in a small company setting.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned tasks.
- Must understand and follow KEMRON SOPs for specific task(s).
- Must be able to travel to work/project sites as needed.
- Must have ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Must have the ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one workstation to another within an office environment.
- Must be able to manually operate all office machines to include printers and copiers.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE CONSIDERED A PLUS:
- Experience working in an employee-owned company.
- Experience working with an environmental consulting/remediation company.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics accounting system.
- Knowledge of the online iSolved HR/benefits.
- Experience using Circa’s online Diversity Catalyst program.
