POSITION SUMMARY : KEMRON is seeking an individual to support project teams engaged in environmental investigation and remediation projects. The position supports project work throughout the US. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of progressively responsible work history, including direct work experience in implementing and reporting of geological and hydrogeological investigations completed in accordance with CERCLA and / or RCRA. This is an exempt full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / FUNCTIONS OF POSITION : Candidates for this position must be capable of fulfilling the following in a fast-paced, consulting services work environment :
- Travel and field work are required. The ability to work in the field under various conditions is required, including lifting equipment, walking over difficult terrain, and working outdoors in inclement weather.
- Assist with defining technical and regulatory requirements and approaches to meet state and federal regulatory requirements and meet project objectives, including permitting, planning and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support multi-disciplinary project teams in the delivery of compliant and complete quality field data collection efforts.
- Provide strong technical writing skills sufficient to prepare and complete planning documents and reports.
- Provide data interpretation and apply data results to support regulatory and technical solutions.
- Communicate directly with project managers regarding project issues, status and overall project performance.
- Coordinate and provide oversight of subcontractors on project sites.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety and quality requirements.
- GIT or progression to GIT then PG is preferred.
NECESSARY EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Must pass drug test, possible background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
