Job Overview :
Night Art Gallery Salesperson Manager is responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and promoting the gallery’s collection of artwork. This role requires a strong understanding of art, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with high-net-worth individuals, collectors, and art enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Client Relations:
- Actively engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend artwork that aligns with their tastes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with collectors, interior designers, and art consultants.
- Close sales and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
2. Art Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of the gallery’s collection, including the artists, styles, and historical context of the artwork.
- Stay informed about art market trends, pricing, art sale websites and emerging artists.
3. Gallery Operations:
- Assist with the presentation and display of artwork in the gallery.
- Coordinate with the gallery team to ensure smooth transactions, including invoicing, shipping, and delivery.
4. Events and Networking:
- Represent the gallery at art fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Host gallery events, private viewings, and artist talks to attract potential buyers.
5. Marketing and Outreach:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the gallery’s collection through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
- Identify and reach out to potential clients to expand the gallery’s customer base.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience in art sales, retail, or a similar client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge / experience of art, contemporary art, and the art market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and experience with promoting art for sale on social media, etc.
- Proficiency in Google docs, CRM and POS systems

Compensation
- Base Pay: $20,000 per year
- Commission: 6% of the sale price for each artwork sold.
