Job Description:
Ken Grody Ford Buena Park is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Buyer to join our team! As a Vehicle Buyer, you will play a critical role in sourcing and purchasing vehicles for our dealership. You will work with leads generated through our dealership CRM, engage in customer communication, and play a key role in negotiating and securing the best deals. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of the car buying process, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Sourcing & Acquisition: Utilize dealership CRM to identify and source vehicles that meet our buying criteria.
- Lead Management: Contact leads through email, phone calls, and text messages to discuss vehicle needs and schedule appointments for buying.
- Negotiate Offers: Work with customers to negotiate vehicle pricing, trade-ins, and offers to finalize purchases.
- Customer Communication: Provide an excellent customer experience by being responsive and professional in all communications.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transactions, including contracts, offers, and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Market Analysis: Keep up with market trends, vehicle values, and competitor pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Weekend Availability: Work alternating weekends to ensure consistent dealership operations and availability for customers.
Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge of cars, the car buying process, and automotive market trends.
- Experience with dealership CRM systems and proficient in emailing, calling, and texting customers.
- Bi-lingual candidates are preferred (Spanish/English).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Weekend availability is required (alternating weekends).
