Position Title: Service Technician
Job Description: As a Service Technician at our BRP Power Sports Dealership, you will play a key role in assisting with diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BRP vehicles under the guidance of senior technicians. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing BRP power sports vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Learn to use diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Follow service bulletins and manufacturer guidelines to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide updates on work progress and assist with customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge of BRP products.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and pre-delivery inspections as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a passion for power sports vehicles.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo training and development to advance within the dealership.
- Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
