We are seeking a skilled Family Services Case Worker to join our team at the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our members, particularly vulnerable children, adults, and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy and protection services to our members, focusing on preventing abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
- Develop and implement case plans to address the specific needs of our clients, involving collaboration with other agencies and committees as necessary.
- Conduct home visits, investigations, and assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of our members.
- Participate in case conferences, initial case plans, child case investigations, case management, and Tribal Court hearings to advocate for our members' best interests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of case management principles, experience working with diverse populations, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have a valid Alaska State driver's license.
Working Conditions
