2nd shift : Mon-Thur 3:30pm-2:00am (occasional OT for Sat)

Responsibilities:
- Assemble fixture doors: Place brackets, gaskets and silicone
- Prepare sub-assemblies for installation
- Attach door to completed housing assembly:
- apply proper labels when applicable
- perform secondary test
- apply silicone to seal fixture
- prepare for final product packaging
- Learn how to wire fixtures:
- Understand proper location of electrical components within the housing
- identify and connect power sources to LED modules
- wire multi-circuit fixtures
- scan power sources and LED modules for product integrity
- perform functional test using quality systems and software.
- Where applicable, verify correct program is being used for robotic application of silicone and/or thermal paste.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and apply electrical wiring knowledge
- Ability to constantly stand up for an entire 10 hour shift
- Ability to twist/turn, stoop/bend, push/pull frequently
- Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math accurately
- Ability to learn and operate hand and pneumatic assembly tools: continuity tester, voltage test fixture, pneumatic hand tools, rivet machine, power stapler, drill press, heat staking machine, heat guns, wire stripper
- Ability to use computerized quality assurance tools (Scanner, tester, touch screen computer)
- Ability to work with your hands to directly manipulate small component to directly manipulate small components
- Flexibility to occasionally work mandatory overtime to meet production goals
Preferred Skills:
- 1 year of similar manufacturing experience preferred.
