About the Position
This employee is responsible for the completion of procedures involving the ordering, replenishment, receiving, stocking, transferring, and issuing of parts Kenco Fleet Services. This position requires frequent communication with customers, suppliers, and Kenco Fleet Services personnel.
Functions
- Manage all parts needs and processes for multiple service locations.
- Manage new vendor setup.
- Manage purchasing for assigned service locations.
- Oversee best practices for parts department regarding stock keeping accuracy and profitability.
- Process receivables and payables of all parts orders.
- Oversee and maintain parts inventory levels and accuracy.
- Ensure that parts records are kept accurately and timely including purchase orders, receipts, returns and adjustments.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance to the company in the profitable operation of a KFS Parts Department.
- Be able to operate within a budget.
- Communicate with vendors for invoices and shipping information.
- Follow best practices regarding parts sourcing (price and availability).
- Manage communication with service team on expected delivery of part and delays.
- Follow Equipsoft procedures and practices for KFS Parts Department.
- Process Docuware invoices in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
- 3 years of related experience and/or training in a parts / service environment.
- Inventory Management experience preferred.
- Experience in computerized inventory software, and ordering processing systems preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in relevant software and basic computer skills specifically in Microsoft office products and applications.
