What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Leader position at Kenco Group?
Kenco Management Services, LLC seeks a Continuous Improvement Leader in DeSoto, TX to support the deployment of the Kenco Operating System (KOS) at the assigned site. Provide regular feedback and updates on active projects. Assist Site Leadership in the culture and practices around the Kenco Guiding Principles, as well as in the development and execution of the KOS implementation plan. Facilitate and coach KOS training at a site level. Provide ongoing education in data-driven business improvement philosophies and methods at all employee levels. Assist management with site KOS deployment as well as coach and mentor leaders and associates with the application of standard work and quality management systems; lean philosophies and Six Sigma; and financial and project management. Calculate financial costs and benefits to process changes and validate results with process owners. Instill KOS ownership via training, mentoring, coaching, and other technical support at the site and functional levels. Partner with network leaders to develop and complete KOS deployment and action plans, plan and complete maturity assessments and phase gate reviews. Perform process mapping, value stream mapping, process design, methods development, establishing performance standards/metrics, ROI analysis and project management. Share knowledge with other Continuous Improvement Leaders and teams across the organization for support and continued update of the latest KOS enhancements and updates. Drive breakthrough performance and expectations through the network as well as drive solutions to assigned tasks incorporating a proactive approach to problem solving. Coach employees to improve their performance and expand their skills as outlined within Efficiency Improvement Program. Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in the offered position or related engineering occupation. Work experience should include: 1) working with quantifying impact to process metrics and financials; 2) working with statistical software such as Minitab, Crystal Ball, Statistic, SPC XL, and SPSS; 3) demonstrated ability to read, interpret and write documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
