About the Position
The Raw Materials Sampler is responsible for manual inspection and sampling of incoming raw materials in accordance with all applicable standard operating procedures and sample work instructions. He/she must understand and implement all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other sample room related regulatory requirements.
Functions
- Clean and maintain sample room/area.
- Move product from sample area and exercise good stacking practices in storage locations.
- Comply with all GMP related to sampling in a high-hygiene area.
- Inspect product for infestation, contamination, cleanliness, and damage.
- Follow all sample work instructions for raw material sampling.
- Place proper labels on sampling containers.
- Maintain information per work instructions by entering data into the sampling logbook.
- Operate powered industrial truck equipment, including reach truck and counterbalance
- Wear supplied protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
- Monitor supply inventory to maintain min/max.
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality sampling or related experience required.
- Powered Industrial Truck experience required.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong mathematic aptitude.
- Good organization skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible according to customer needs.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
