About the Position :

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This role includes reporting, physical inventory, and system audits, as well as utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products for shipping and receiving to meet customer needs.

Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business, including product holds / releases, recalls, and returns. Specific practices and regulations (e.g., food safety) may also be applicable.

Available Shifts :

  • Day Shift : Monday through Thursday, 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Functions :

  • Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
  • Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits; track and monitor all damaged products in inventory and provide necessary reports to leadership.
  • Verify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts; investigate and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate product recalls, holds / releases, and product infestation audits, if needed.
  • Monitor the pest control program, if required at the site.
  • If responsible for quality functions :

  • Ensure the facility is inspection-ready at all times (e.g., SQFI, FDA, or other customer needs).
  • Facilitate quality / regulated training and coordinate the site's quality management program.
  • Maintain the site's quality management portal and draft / revise site SOPs as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • High School diploma or GED required; an associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Industry-specific experience (e.g., food grade) may be required based on the site.
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
