About the Position
The Stand Up Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment as well as other equipment when necessary to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as reach, slip sheet, push/pull equipment, and drive-in pallet racking.
- Load, unload, and store products and/or materials safely, efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas safely, efficiently and accurately.
- Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
- Operating a WMS inventory system.
- Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
- Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
- Complete cycle count as required and support quality as needed
- Perform daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
- Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for FDA, and customer needs.
- Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed to ensure 6S program sustainability.
- Active participation, engagement in CI programs and systems.
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor and as required by business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior Stand Up Forklift operating experience.
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Pass Background and Drug screen
- Basic computer skills

- Warehouse Setting - Able to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products, unload trailer manually, as well as replenish product, from various heights.

Required- 3 year(s): Warehouse work experience picking and packing product manually, including utilizing scanners and PCs
- 2 year(s): Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience utilizing reach trucks, clamp trucks, sit downs, walkie riders and scissors lifts
