About the Position
The Inventory Clerk maintains inventory levels and accuracy in a distribution center. This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.
Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business. This could include, but is not limited to, product holds / releases, recalls, and returns. In addition, specific practices and / or regulations may exist (i.e. food safety).
Functions
Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generates applicable inventory reports.
