About the Position
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for general facility and equipment repairs. May be required to perform HVAC services or additionally skilled duties.
Functions
- Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery. Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics.
- Ability to program Programmable Logic Controllers using basic and ladder logic.
- Knowledge of Confined Space Requirements and Permitting and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Schedule Preventative Maintenance and maintain Logs, for all buildings and equipment.
- Schedule and oversee any third-party contractors visiting facility for repairs or maintenance.
- Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation.
- Operate battery changing equipment / station for powered industrial equipment.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Additional duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
