Key Responsibilities:Operations:
- Manage daytoday warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Develop and lead warehouse staff to maintain a high level of productivity and safety
- Coordinate with the corporate headquarters, vendors and logistics partners for timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure facility, cleanliness and organization
- Oversee customer service and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time
- Prospect and visit current and potential customers across your territory
- Provide product recommendations and solutions tailored to agricultural fencing needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, ranchers, fencing contractors, and dealers
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and sales orders
- Attend local ag shows, expos, and community events to promote the business
- Track sales activity and report performance metrics to leadership
- 35 years of experience in operations, sales, or agrelated fields (fencing, construction, or supplies a plus)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage warehouse staff
- Selfstarter with excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within the region for outside sales
- Knowledge of farm fencing products and agricultural customers is a big plus
- Comfortable use of basic software (e.g., Excel, CRM, inventory systems)
