The Business Analyst works at corporate level with key areas (sales, operations, marketing, admin, finance) to identify and document functional necessities needed for operational and system requirements. This position will identify process gaps and improvement opportunities and lead efforts to design solutions to those issues across multiple divisions.

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is required
At least three years of business analyst work experience is highly preferred
At least two years of experience working with ERP systems is highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :
Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and regulations
Ability to general solution ideas and group facilitation skills
Ability to process computer data, format, and generate reports
Ability to work within Sage 100 ERP and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of risk management practices and pricing business concepts
Knowledge of financial implications of a project on the business
Basic understanding of functional business areas and how they interact
Ability to work with internal and external partners and users
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Create necessary reports using Business Integrator or report writing tools for CRM
Develop and streamline Ad Hoc reports and tools to manage MRP / Purchasing
Establish, analyze, and document production KPI standards
Automate Daily Activity Report for production leadership analysis
Provide analysis of Domestic Freight Costs by Division / Vendor / Ship-to / Ship-from, etc.
Provide analysis on in-house vs. leased vs. outsourced domestic transportation
Develop a Purchasing strategy through collaboration with Purchasing Managers
Create cost analysis / justification and written recommendation to management
Create project plans, estimates, schedules, and status reports
Perform workflow analysis, create workflow diagrams, and make recommendations for procedural improvements
Performs other duties as assigned
