Job Description

Americana Tire and Wheel, a division of American Kenda Rubber, is an innovative and progressive tire and wheel supplier to the trailer industry. We are a market leader in supplying tire and wheel assemblies to trailer manufacturers and distributors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Performs duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms

Knows basic SAGE entry orders, inventory receipts, and production / work orders

Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phones, computers, and other standard office equipment

Serves as receptionist for the office

Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate departments or individuals; processes outgoing mail

Manages calendars and schedules appointments

Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :

Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Knowledge of office management procedures

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent is required

At least one year administrative or office experience is highly preferred

Working Condition and Physical Requirements :

Work is normally performed in a typical interior / office environment

Physical demands of the position are sitting, walking, and constant viewing of the computer screen
