Position Summary: Facilities & Maintenance Generalist
This dynamic position requires versatility, collaboration, and a willingness to perform tasks across various trades and responsibilities. As a Facilities & Maintenance Generalist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our beautiful campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance work across disciplines: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, groundskeeping, painting, security, and more.
- Perform outdoor tasks such as landscaping, snow removal, and campus beautification in all weather conditions.
- Manage and document work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with preventative maintenance, special projects, and moving tasks (furniture, equipment, event setup).
- Ensure safety through proper use of protective equipment and safety measures.
- Maintain and repair vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Respond to emergencies, staff absences, and special events when required.
