What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Operator position at Kendal-Crosslands Communities?
As a Laundry Operator, you will be responsible for providing and insuring an uninterrupted supply of sanitary, clean, in good repair, linen products to apartments and Health Services, by complying with Federal, State, and local standards, department guidelines and regulations.
Qualification and Experience:
- Must be able to follow and give written and oral instructions, and otherwise communicate and receive communications orally and in writing and the ability to keep accurate records.
- Capable of learning all of the required procedures used in the operation of the laundry.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to operate large machines with the utmost safety.
- Ability to work well with co-workers.
Physical Demands:
- Stands, walks most of the day.
- Will lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy weights from 50 pounds up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
