What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Kendal-Crosslands Communities?
The primary function of the Physical Therapist role is to provide Physical Therapy (PT) services for residents of Kendal-Crosslands Communities (KCC) as defined - by the Pennsylvania State Board of PT Licensure; Serves on committees as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness and/or the Rehabilitation Services Manager. Actively participates in in-service training programs, both within the KCC community and within professional programs outside of KCC; Maintains clinical medical record documentation to meet all Federal and State requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working with adult population preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
- Must be insurable by the Kendal-Crosslands Communities professional liability insurance.
Physical Demands:
- Walking, standing, and bending most of the day.
- Able to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents weighing up to 250 pounds including wheelchair transport on indoor and outdoor surfaces.
