What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver position at Kendal Floral Supply LLC?
Essential Responsibilities
- Carefully check the quality of all products to ensure that they meet quality standards before being placed in the cooler.
- Receive in product.
- Verify quantity and quality.
- Safely move finished product into the cooler as quickly as possible to maintain maximum freshness of the product.
- Unpacking, counting, sorting and putting away incoming orders
- While roses are being prepared daily, make sure rose quality is up to company standards.
- Places items in proper slots in the warehouse
- Rotates produce.
- Assists in warehouse maintenance
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- 6 months experience in Cooler/Warehouse environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and retain new information
- Flexible Schedule
- Able to lift 40 pounds without restrictions
