Compensation: $17.25 - $22.00/hour, depending on experience
Kendal at Hanover has full-time and part-time opportunities available in our Dining Services department in the dishroom.
The person in this role must be available to work a combination of first and second shift as needed, as well as weekends. This position has the opportunity to be either part-time or full-time, anywhere from 12 to 36 hours per week depending on candidate availability.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assures that pulper and garbage disposal are clean and filters clear of food particles.
- Keeps chemical closet neat and orderly.
- Ensures that all dishes, utensils, glassware and other kitchen items are clean and sanitary.
- Retrieves dirty dishes from the Café, Wistar, Kitchen and Cadbury Dining Room as needed.
- Sweeps, scrubs and mops all floors, including all kitchen areas and storerooms.
- Charts dish machine temperatures during all shifts using the chart located on the clipboard outside the dish room.
