Pay: Based on years of experience. Starting at $17.84/hr.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to support the development and delivery of programs that enhance the quality of life for residents in both Assisted Living and Long-Term Care centers. This role focuses on providing assistance in creating and implementing therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to residents' individual needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing residents' skills and abilities to identify their needs.
- Support the creation and execution of personalized goals and programs for residents.
- Help plan and facilitate individual and group sessions, incorporating therapeutic activities and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to evaluate and adapt programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of interventions, treatments, and progress.
- Assist in sourcing and preparing materials for activities and programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Required: Background in Health Services or a related field.
- Encouraged but Not Required: Experience in Recreational Therapy.
