Our Kendal at Hanover Homemaker Services team has a great opportunity for qualified individuals interested in helping older adults. The Transportation/Administrative Float performs a variety of tasks in support of the day-to-day transportation of residents to medical and non-medical appointments, including operating Kendal vehicles to transport residents on trips to a variety of locations and providing direct support to the Homemaker Services team in meeting the needs of residents and accepting delegated tasks and assignments. Possession of a valid driver's license and good driving record is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Schedules medical appointments for residents using a variety of scheduling systems. e.g. DHMC, Matrix Care Soneto
- Communicates appointment dates and times with residents, nurse supervisors and clinicians; daily and as needed
- Completes daily follow-up phone calls to confirm appointment dates, times, and pick-up time before end of shift.
- Provides clerical support to Home Care department utilizing a variety of computer programs. e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Provides administrative support to the Health Services Departments by obtaining and maintaining practical knowledge of applicable computer systems, billing processes, assisting with various tasks and projects in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Reports concerns or any observed physical, psychological or social changes to the Nurse.
- Assist with non-clinical resident appointments, as necessary, to meet census demand.
- Active CPR certification required.

Work Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 PM
