What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Specialist : Duluth, GA position at Kendall Vegetation Services?
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for managing bids and proposals and supporting Regional Managers and the Director with various business development activities.
Essential Functions

- Manage proposal process (lead to submittal)
o Maintain Opportunities within the NetSuite CRM, including status, key dates, etc
o Review proposals, gather and organize required data from internal resources (i.e. Regional Managers, Finance, HR, Insurance etc)
o Schedule bid meetings with internal stake holders (pre-bid, bid review, post-bid)
o Ensure proposals comply with RFP requirements
o Order Bid bonds and Performance bonds
o Prepare and submit bids and proposals (via hardcopy or electronic)
o Assist with post-bid win / loss analysis
o Complete vendor applications and questionnaires for new and existing customers
o Prepare bid / proposal stats and disseminate key information to stakeholders throughout back-office departments and management.
o Monitor Bid Boards for potential bidding opportunities.
o Work with the Director of Contracts to ensure rate increases and renewal bids are submitted as required.
o Participate in monthly and quarterly customer performance reviews and assist with contract portfolio development.
o Participate in Regional Sales Meetings
o Other projects and functions as assigned by the Director, Business Development
