Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports and/or leads small contract-based projects, ensuring accountability, resource management, and adherence to company processes. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution to meet project timelines and financial goals while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist/manage project timelines, resource allocation, and material coordination.
- Communicate regularly with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Process and track change orders, minimize returns, and resolve project issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and oversee installation as needed.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Attend meetings, support billing, and assist in project closeout.
- Develop industry knowledge and technical skills through training.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management or related field (or 1 year industry experience).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in relevant software and project documentation.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- This position reports to the Director of Project Management and involves office-based work with occasional travel.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Hours: Standard business hours are 8am-5pm
