Job Description
The Senior Project Manager ensures our clients’ needs are met while aligning with organizational policies and procedures, providing exceptional customer service, meeting organizational objectives and driving revenue and job profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Assign and manage PM workload, ensuring projects are delivering to client needs and specifications
- Effectively examine PM planning requirements, monitoring trends and future demand
- Provide leadership and support staff through project challenges and decision-making processes, determining the best course of action for the organization when needed
- Provide support and step in for conflict resolution at the General Contractor/Client Manager level
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting on Project Close-out GPM, Change Order GPM, Internal Change Order values, etc.
- Ensure that all efforts are made to retain revenue, improve product mix, and maintain the integrity of accounts receivable
- Participate in the onboarding process for new team members and training plans for advancing team members
- Ensure advancement in technical/industry knowledge and alignment with KENDELL process
- Participate in and drive intra-/inter-department strategy, process improvement or process change
- Manage Team Mobilization Lead position to align with strategies, reporting and processes as it relates to the PM department and integration with all Kendell departments
- Share industry, market, product, and business knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years experience in Commercial Construction field, related to operations or business management
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software
- High level of interpersonal skills and customer relations skills to handle a variety of situations. Position continually requires demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, flexibility, and dependability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability (synthesize complex or diverse information, identify and resolve problems promptly and gather and analyze information skillfully)
- Experience in demonstrating leadership/influence and collaboration across multiple and diverse groups
- Diversity of functional business experiences (e.g. client, operational, systems, customer service)
- Ability to create and maintain customer relationships
- The position requires a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive
- Perform daily tasks in alignment with organizational core values
