POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for assisting in &/or leading the following: product ideation from concept to launch, interacting with vendors, presenting to management, project and timeline management, product and trend research, and quality assurance for Ole Henriksen.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to:
  • Oversee day-to-day product development operations, including sending shipments, organizing supply closet, organizing product samples, and miscellaneous office tasks.
  • Support on-going and new skincare formula developments
  • Coordinate formula evaluations, ensuring that samples are distributed, and feedback is collected in a timely manner
  • Research competitive landscape and maintain product benchmarks
  • Create and present the latest trends with the team quarterly
  • Lead vendor development calls and follow up on submissions and documentations
  • Create product samples for meetings and presentations
  • Successfully work with the compliance department on regulatory and testing protocols
    • Coordinate all bulk and samples for all testing (consumer in use/claims, Safety/RIPT, water activity, etc.) and coordinate final claims with Regulatory, Brand Management and copy teams
    • Conducting internal and external panel testing and providing a summary analysis
  • Oversee and be responsible for the evaluation of formula submissions with the team
  • Track and record submissions and formula feedback in project trackers
  • Coordinate vendor meetings, meeting minutes and sample follow-up
  • Participate in brainstorms and concept ideation

REQUIREMENTS
  • BA degree or equivalent experience preferred plus 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Passionate about skincare and the beauty industry
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to work in and thrive in a fast-paced, often-changing collaborative environment
  • A self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Client-focused, personable and flexible with demands and changes in business
  • Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams), SurveyMonkey
