Assistant Store Manager, Lip Lab - Wharf DC

Job Description Position : Assistant Store Manager Status : Full Time Reports To : Store Manager Salary : $22.00 - $24.00 Lip Lab is about more than just lipstick! The Role : As the Assistant Store Manager, you will not only help oversee the day-to-day operations of the store but will also create a fun, engaging and positive atmosphere that both guests and employees will all want to be a part of. What we are looking for :

• Strong background in leadership, team building and delegation (minimum of 2 years' experience is required)
• The ability to work in close partnership and coordination with leadership team to drive sales and KPI performance, and ensure the business runs smoothly and successfully
• Someone who leads by example with a can-do attitude and generous spirit, always going above and beyond for both guests and team members
• A passion for providing exceptional guest service and promoting an upbeat party atmosphere
• An understanding of sales, targets and what it takes to drive a business
• Proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and Google Docs
• Ability to engage guests while multitasking and time managing to ensure experience
• Experience with team training, development and coaching
• Open availability
• Comfortable in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Physically able to meet the demands of the job including the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift to 30 lbs, including the ability to kneel and squat
• Ability to travel for company events, meetings & trainings when necessary if Store Manager is unable to attend What you will do :
• Working closely with Store Manager to drive the business and maximize store sales potential
• Partner, train, coach and support Leads daily across all aspects of Operations, Training, Parties and Guest Experience
• Step in as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations and team members and jumping in as a Colour Expert where needed to support services and ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Provide consistent and on the spot coaching and feedback to team members that encourages trust and growth when Manager on Duty
• Cascade business opportunities and sales trends to store team
• Partner with Store Manager on team interviews and recruitment
• Train and motivate new hires to deliver exceptional guest service and products manufactured to GMP standards
• Help create a culture of recognition and celebration for your team through positive reinforcement, including consistent and real time coaching and constructive feedback that encourages team member growth
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice standards are being followed by team members
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are always maintained
