Candidates must be able to work either June 2nd to August 8th or June 23rd to August 29th.
For Summer 2025, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco office.
Interns will come into the San Francisco office weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work from home every Monday and Friday. Quality Assurance Intern POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Assurance Intern is responsible for assisting the skincare team in their day-to-day QA / QC activities.
In addition, you will be responsible for leading an individual project that will be presented to Quality / Technical Services leadership at the end of the summer. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates and coordinates the preparation of samples for review of physical attributes (color, odor, appearance, texture), evaluation of bulk product, work-in-process, and finished goods manufactured by suppliers.
- Communicates with suppliers / contractors results of evaluation and / or examination issues related to product / package integrity.
- Helps to organize product retains.
- Supports Quality Assurance for examination of complaint samples.
- Own and present an individual project at the conclusion of the internship.
- Perform ad-hoc projects to support the team. REQUIREMENTS
- Rising junior, senior preferably with a major in chemistry or life sciences, or experience in cosmetics or related industry.
- Passionate about cosmetics and skin care
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion is critical.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Optimistic and can-do attitude to help push for resolutions.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills; able to work independently to produce quality results.
