The salary range for this position is $79,900 - $89,900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
As Associate Manager of Social Marketing, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of @fentyskin's Instagram and assist in the execution of social media initiatives— you will post on Fenty Skin Instagram and support other platforms, write copy for social posts, design and create content, community manage, assist in ideation for content themes and activations, pull analytics and reports for social campaigns, help to build and deploy campaigns that engage, excite and educate the FENTY SKIN audience on new and existing products.
The Fenty Social Media Marketing Team is responsible for storytelling and illustrating Fenty Skin's content pillars through thumb-stopping social-first digital experiences. As the Associate Manager of Social Marketing for Fenty Skin, you'll have the incredible opportunity to work with our social marketing team to create fresh, innovative designs that bring Fenty's brand DNA to life.
Candidates should have strong verbal communication skills, as well as a knowledge of the digital media space, particularly in beauty. Candidates should be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and be able to manage timelines efficiently. Candidates should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and have a can-do attitude. Efficiency is your motto – exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple on-going priorities at the same time. Candidates should be on the cusp of social innovation—always ahead of what's next and trends within social and digital and has a deep-seated passion for social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day channel management and operation for @fentyskin's Instagram [in-feed, stories, broadcast channel, Threads] including calendar planning, copywriting, content design and creation, content publishing, and community management.
- Create and post daily Instagram stories (3-5 slides) that incorporate reposts of user-generated content
- Create trend-setting, innovative designs for static in-feed posts and stories, with a focus on social-first elements that are on brand with the Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin aesthetic
- Ideate and create social-first product marketing assets and infographics that illustrate hero messaging and product benefits (ingredients, claims)
- Write copy for @fentyskin social posts that is engaging and educational while staying true to the Fenty brand voice
- Monitor pop culture events and daily social trends for reactive content opportunities, creating designs that insert Fenty Skin into relevant conversation
- Partner with the Fenty Skin Social Lead and Manager of Social Marketing, TikTok to ensure all social posts and messaging is consistent across all brand channels
- Collaborate with the Fenty Beauty and Fenty Hair Instagram leads to plan, manage, and execute collab tags for cross-brand moments
- Assist in ideation and development of social-first content marketing activations for every product launch
- Assist in creating highly engaging short-form videos specifically tailored for TikTok and Instagram reels, ensuring content ladders up to brand content pillars and help fuel channel growth and engagement
- Partner with the digital team during tentpole sale moments (BFCM, Fenty Fam Sale) to receive final creative assets and ensure product messages and pricing are communicated correctly across all social content and channels
- Report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly social KPI's, ensuring growth metrics are on track to reach marketing goals and objectives

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience creating and managing social media content for brand/owned channels, either in-house or at an agency
- Demonstrated experience and success with community management and customer service
- Proven track record of translating social data and KPI's into actionable insights
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone of voice
- Exceptional photography and videography skills – ability to tell stories and create compelling content that captures the audience's attention is key
- Immersed in the TikTok landscape and understands the algorithm best practices for creating engaging beauty content
- Has a 24-7 pulse on all things Gen-Z and is well-versed in the latest social media trends, platforms and services
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) and CapCut
- This role must be based in San Francisco
