Looking for someone to help with day to day admin task, making phone calls, cleaning, and assisting patient by setting up the machines for exercises.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy of patient information
- Coordinate with therapists and other staff members to optimize patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, electronic medical records systems)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Empathy and compassion for patients dealing with injuries or disabilities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
