The Kenilworth Park District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Summer Camp Lifeguard and Counselor to join our team. As a member of our summer camp staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our campers while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
- Assisting Program Leaders and Directors in an emergency situation
- Developing and implementing program activities for campers within the mission and outcomes
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in lifeguarding and youth supervision
- Current certification in first aid, CPR, and AED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
