ICF Program Director
Job Summary:
- Oversight and management, including, but not limited to, hiring, staff evaluations, employee relation issues, monitoring and scheduling required staff training, attending team meetings.
- Oversees group homes, including maintaining budget, managing staffing & overtime, ensuring the homes are safe and clean, meeting the needs of our consumers.
- Responsible for compliance with state licensing and reporting standards and assisting with inspections and investigations.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency in agency's fiscal and billing procedures
- Reviews and provides tours for referrals and coordinates group home admission.
- Conducts staff training programs and general policy and procedures to improve the organization’s service delivery.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with local, state and governmental agencies.
Experience/Skills:
Experience with ICF standards
Understanding of local regulatory agency operations
Understanding and commitment of support for persons with disabilities
Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
Excellent time management skills
Attention to detail a must!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field and/OR
- Minimum of 3 years paid work experience in services with individuals with an intellectual disability or related condition as verified by written statements from a previous employer.
- Proven experience in program development, management and supervision
- Strong leadership and administrative skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
License and Certification:
- Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record, as defined by the Kenmar ICF
