Production Supervisor
3rd Shift - 10:30pm - 7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for production employees on evening shift. Oversee and support maintenance staff on evening shift.
- Maintain work schedules of employees to ensure proper coverage to meet customer and business demands
- Lead and direct all aspects of Safety on shift
- Plan, maintain and communicate production requirements while providing direction and guidance to employees to achieve planned objectives
- Ensure that employees are properly trained and have the necessary resources to meet safety, quality and productivity standards and goals
- Ensure adherence of all employees to company and plant procedures
- Provide day shift leaders with updates, communications and solutions for the upcoming day
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated leadership in manufacturing can replace a degree.
- The successful candidate will have the ability to lead, direct and develop employees to meet business objectives
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills are required
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers including MS-EXCEL and MS-WORD applications
- Ability to proactively lead safety initiatives throughout the facility.
