The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for operating various grinding machines including centerless grinding, top and bottom grinding, surface grinding, and ID hone grinding. The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts to specifications, ensuring efficient machine operation, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate grinding machines to perform tasks such as grinding, honing, polishing, and deburring of metal parts.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are within tolerances and meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any machining issues and optimize processes.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine grinding specifications and requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in optimal working condition.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
