Established and growing private dermatology and cosmetic practice, Kennebec Medical Consultants, in Waterville Maine seeks self-starter with excellent customer service and organizational skills to cover front desk operations. Job duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:
· Ability to know how to scan, move and file documents and work within and maintain paper-free environment
· Interact with patients via telephone, and email to provide service for patient referrals
· Interact with referring doctor’s offices via telephone and email to provide service for patient referrals
· Experience with surgical scheduling, pre-auth and referrals is preferred
· Professional and friendly work environment
· Ability to work Monday through Friday. No on-call, weekends, or nights.
· Excellent computer skills (preferably MAC system environment including ipads) and prior check-in and check-out experience in a fast-paced clinic environment required
· Must have “can do / positive attitude” with willingness to assist in any area necessary for workflow and success of practice
· Other duties include collecting deductibles and co-pays, answering phones, patient reminder calls, appointment scheduling, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
