This position is a full-time exempt position located in our Augusta location.
Job Summary:
The Respiratory Care Manager directs and coordinates all respiratory therapy activities while overseeing the daily operations and staff supervision for our respiratory care department. This individual will focus on quality, efficiency, and staff development.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, coaching, and mentoring.
- Foster team collaboration, process improvement, and teambuilding.
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures as well as, accreditation requirements.
- Monitor and improve workflow, financial performance, and quality outcomes.
- Develop budgets, optimize resources, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, staff development, and strategic growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
- Current driver’s license in good standing.
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or RN (Registered Nurse).
- Licensed RCP.
- CPR certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in team building, mentoring, and process improvement.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to build strategic relationships and drive innovation.
- Previous experience in a leadership role is desired
- Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Standard retail floor setting with minimal noise levels. Ability to lift/move/carry objects of varying size and weight, which may include lifting of moderately heavy boxes. (25 lbs.) Involves prolonged standing/walking nearly 100% of the shift.
