Job Summary:
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program is seeking a Part-Time Teacher Aide to support the educational development of children ages 3-5 in our After Care program at Canaan Preschool.

Responsibilities:
- Support children's developmental progress and school readiness in a team environment
- Contribute to child assessment and individualized learning plans for diverse learners
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children ages 3-5 in group care settings
- Ability to meet agency and State Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks and physical exams
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, as well as basic computer skills
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, unless part of an early childhood education training program
- For Early Head Start primary caregiving responsibilities: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential required
