KVCAP Child and Family Services has openings for Substitute Teacher Aides!
Who can apply? College students, retired workers, part-time workers, those looking to get back into the workforce, those looking for additional income.
What will you be doing? Substitute aides are needed in all our classroom locations working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You let us know the age group you prefer to work with.
When will you work? It’s up to you. You set your availability and frequency. Are you only available on Mondays; only available in the mornings; do you only want to work during the school year; or are you available anytime?
Where will you work? We have child care locations (ages birth to 5 years) in Waterville and Skowhegan, and preschool (ages 3 to 5 years) locations in Canaan, Hartland, Norridgewock, Skowhegan, and Waterville. You also will have the opportunity to sub at various Home Start Partnership locations.

Requirements :
Experience and Skill Requirements : The following experience and skills are considered essential :
- Experience in group care setting for young children (ages 0-5 preferred).
- Must be able to meet requirements of agency & State Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks and physical exams and demonstrate interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Ability to travel and adjust to flexible schedule.
