Scope of Work:
Under the general supervision of the Accounting Team Leader and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for daily general ledger entries and routine administrative activities.
Essential Functions:
Performs daily entries to current General Ledger system
Serves as department backup as needed
Backup to the daily administration of wire transactions i.e. input or verify wires in WireXchange
Performs routine administrative activities
Prepares weekly Canadian Check cash letter
Responsible for the reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts
Responsible for the sorting, organizing and distributing of the teller work and mail
Responsible for branch cash balancing
Acts as liaison with branches and other departments to resolve balancing with general ledger
