What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Community Safety Officer position at Kennebunkport Town Hall?
The Kennebunkport Police Department is seeking applicants for the summer
Community Safety Officer position. The position is responsible for patrolling the areas of Dock Square and Goose Rocks Beach. Applicants who excel at engaging with the public and are ready to spend their summer walking downtown or along the beach while enforcing the municipal ordinances are welcome to apply.
The duties include but are not limited to parking violation enforcement as well as other town ordinance enforcement, community relations, and public assistance.
These positions require constant walking, standing, some light lifting, and other physical work. This seasonal position will run from the middle of June to the end of August. Work hours may range from 20-40 hours a week, depending on the availability of the candidate and town needs.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older. The pay range is $14.65-19/hour.
