- Position: In Home Caregiver
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
- Hours: 20 hours a week
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am-3pm
- Location: East Sparta, OH and surrounding areas
Requirements:
- Willing to travel 15-20 miles to client homes
- Must drive yourself to and from work in your own reliable vehicle
- A functional smartphone capable of downloading and using apps is required, along with comfort, competence, and proficiency in utilizing mobile technology for documentation and clocking in and out as part of your daily responsibilities.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

We are currently looking for a caregiver to provide assistance to our clients in their own homes.
Major Duties and Responsibilities of a Life Care Professional:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, transferring, toileting, and maintaining continence.
- Provide companionship and engagement by supporting hobbies, social activities, and personal interests.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and other assistive devices.
- Provide dementia care, offering patience, structure, and support.
- Assist with bed baths, showering, hygiene, oral care, and peri care to ensure client comfort and cleanliness.
- Help with turning and repositioning to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort.
- Offer ambulation support to promote mobility and prevent falls.
- Provide toileting assistance and brief changes with dignity and respect.
- Document and report any changes in client health or status.
- Utilize electronic software for timekeeping and maintaining records.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with family members, ensuring they are informed and supported.
