JOB SUMMARY
Kennedy Catholic is looking for a Head Boys & Girls Track Coach for the 2024-2025 school
year. Kennedy Catholic Athletics has a strong tradition and is looking for a motivated leader to
guide the Track program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for all aspects of the boys and girls track program
• Will emphasize teaching athletes Christ-like character
• Responsible for all coaching techniques and strategies
• Manage budget
• Responsible for gear and equipment inventory
• Manage team schedule
• Communicates travel needs to the Athletic Director
• Works closely with Strength Coach to develop positive strength & conditioning
program
• Responsible for appropriate behavior and safety of team members
• Responsible for maintaining the quality of the facility during use
• Hiring of Assistant Coaches with concurrence of the Athletic Director
• Compliance with all WIAA rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level, or high-level playing
experience
• Experience managing, mentoring, and directing a large mix of full- and part-time staff

• Knowledge, skills, and abilities in working with adolescents, their families, and coaches
• CPR/First Aid Certificate at or upon hiring
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• This is a part-time position with a projected stipend of $6,250
