Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC) is committed to providing high-quality care to the individuals we support. The purpose of the Shared Living Program (SLP) is to provide a home setting to individuals who cannot live independently. Shared Living homes promote individual growth, the development of relationships both within the home and in the greater community, individual choice-making, and the health and safety of the individuals. KDC is seeking caring and compassionate caregivers throughout central and eastern Massachusetts to share their home and life with a person with disability.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support and supervision to the individual
- Participate and attend all meetings involving the individual
- Ensure the health and safety of the individual, including scheduling/attendingmedical appts., maintaining a safe home, and administering medications
- Completing required documentation
- Participating in trainings and maintaining certifications
- Training and certifications
- Guidance and professional support from a Shared Living Case Manager
- Clinical Supports as needed
- 24/7 On-Call Assistance
- Tax-exempt stipend (Bi-Weekly)
- Must have an available bedroom for the individual
- Criminal Record Check (CORI) check and RMV for self and all family members through DDS
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Commitment to community-basedsupport for adults withdevelopmental disabilities
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is helpful but not required
