We are looking for people who have:
- High School or G.E.D. required; Associates Degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Spreadsheet/accounting software knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in team-based approach
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient data entry skills
- Able to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software
The physical requirements for this role are:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Phone use and typing ability required
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Manage vendor invoices, receipt, scanning into accounting system, payment terms and weekly cash requirements reporting
- Maintain vendor identification numbers for all vendors
- Overall management of agency credit cards, ensuring receipts are uploaded for all charges and expense coding is complete.
- Monthly downloading and uploading into general ledger software
- Ensure accuracy of expense allocations to programs and posting to respective accounting periods
- Communicate with KDC team members as needed to ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
- Monitor the accounts payable inbox and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all invoices and receipts related to payables are electronically stored
- Maintain compliance with all Kennedy-Donovan Center policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings, and group and individual supervision
- Perform all other responsibilities as assigned in supporting the accounting team
