Kennedy Jenks is seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to work for a client in Emeryville, California for 6-12 months with the possibility of staying on full-time after completion of the project. You will work with our multi-disciplinary engineering teams in the planning, design, and construction of all types of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, delivering high-quality services to our clients that exceed their expectations. You will have the opportunity to learn through mentorship and help grow our business while working with a team of likeminded individuals. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in running Engineering Services During Construction (ESDC) including handling Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and other documentation.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Provide support in managing project schedules and budgets.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite every day with construction hours (5am-3pm, 6am-4pm).
- Must be able to start immediately.
