As a Communications intern your work will support project teams providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation issues that our water environment, transportation, and industrial sector clients are facing.

A Day In The Life Of a Communications Intern

• Collaborate with the KJ Communications team to write, edit, review, and update content that will be published on the company’s intranet and/or public website.
• Assist with interviewing technical experts and performing research on relevant projects or industry topics.
• Provide support for development and scheduling of social media content.
• Provide support for media monitoring and reporting.
• Assist with screening and managing inbound leads via the company’s public website.
• Assist with data entry tasks and review existing data for accuracy.
• Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration
• Completion of one year of qualified study
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications, particularly Microsoft Word. SharePoint experience a plus.
• Experience using WordPress strongly preferred
  
  

Pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $20 to $25 per hour, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
