Job Overview:
The Oil and Gas Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, AP/AR, and preparing financial statements. This role requires knowledge of both general accounting principles and specialized accounting processes used in the oil and gas sector.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Utilize accounting software, such as Quorum for financial reporting and analysis.
- Daily and monthly processing of joint interest transactions.
- Management of vendor, joint interest partner and customer accounts.
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subledgers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Business-related field preferred
- Must be in Gillette, WY or must be willing to relocate to Gillette.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related field required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
