Job Summary:
Kennedy Richter Construction, LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to join our estimating team. As the lead point of responsibility during the pre-construction phase, you will ensure that our standards of daily performance and procedures are met from project inception to turnover.
- Main point of contact for assigned projects
- Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Maintain all project documents in an organized manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop precise estimates and competitive bids for construction projects
- Perform self-led take-offs to gather necessary data for bids
- Review construction plans, specifications, and perform take-offs to gather bid information
- Design and propose solutions for client-specific needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management a plus
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
- 2-5 years' of construction experience preferred
